Okay, I was given the understanding that this is what I was meant to start with for after Angel's series. But I think it was a real mistake on the Whedon's part to start it off after so many changes have occurred. All I kept hoping for as I read was some kind of flash back or recap explaining how they got here. Yes, it was entertaining, but I really don't like jumping into what feels like the middle of the story.

My first and truest love is fantasy, but I dabble in just about any genre. Not everything I like is 100% perfect when examined through a feminist lens, but I am a firm believer that it's all right to like problematic things, as long as you can acknowledge what is problematic about it and not be a jerk about it.
