Ashes to Ashes - Jennifer Armintrout Another enjoyable read. The main characters have developed a lot more depth and have grown a great deal since the first book, and I appreciate their introspection. And the way she shakes things up by radically altering their lives, in pretty much every book.

I'm not sure about the love triangle with the main character. I've enjoyed some of the supporting characters more, particularly Max. For some reason, he reminds me a lot of my husband, which makes me rather attached to him, and very worried for him considering she's been known to be a bit ruthless with character deaths on occasion.

I was satisfied with the ending of this book, to the extent that I'm a little reluctant to read the final installment. I'll still read it, but I'm going to read a couple of other things before I get around to it.
