Thoughts of a nerdy feminist

My first and truest love is fantasy, but I dabble in just about any genre. Not everything I like is 100% perfect when examined through a feminist lens, but I am a firm believer that it's all right to like problematic things, as long as you can acknowledge what is problematic about it and not be a jerk about it.

The Night Angel Trilogy (Night Angel, #1-3) - Brent Weeks

I'm at 8% in this trilogy, and I really don't like it. I want to like it, because so many people keep raving about it. But people also keep raving about Breaking Bad, and I have no interest in that, either.

I love Brent Weeks' Lightbringer series and will keep at that, but I don't care for this at all, and I'm not going to bother anymore.
